Subwoofer not working until I change the volume on the back

They tested the sub and found nothing wrong with it. I've been running with another sub, connected the same way with no problems either. I don't really see a reason to send the receiver in for testing.

It still probably has to do with the signal it gets not being enough for the canton, but it doesn't seem like i'll be able to solve this.
If you are certain that auto on is not activated on that sub, the signal from your receiver has nothing to do with it. The other sub works, so the Canton IS defective. You have had a snow job from Canton. Demand a replacement amp from Canton or a new sub.
