Someone anonymously gave me a red "chicklet" for saying:

"And the subwoofer, if it is doing its job, is going to be able to vibrate everything in the room anyway, no matter where it is placed."

Their comment:

And the subwoofer, if it is doing its job, is going to be able to vibrate everything in the room anyway, no matter where it is placed. - NOT IF IS SETUP CORRECTLY!
I guess someone expects a subwoofer to be wimpy and unable to cause vibrations in an ordinary house.

Mine are capable of vibrating the room when the volume of the system is turned up loud, even though they are placed on a tiled, concrete floor. Since they move air, and there is air throughout the room, they can vibrate anything in the room.

That was silly of them.

My sub vibrates almost everything in my house.

I rarely notice those ratings, but I happened to look at the User CP and noticed the remark. I also once got a red "chicklet" from someone because I said that I would never buy a certain thing, and they said that therefore I should not be giving advice about it. If such a person were consistent and ever visited a thread about Bose speakers, they would be giving out tons of red "chicklets" to all of the people saying that they would never buy Bose. Of course, that is silly criteria, but with the anonymous negative rating system, good reasons are not necessary to negatively rate someone. It is too bad some people don't have the courage of their convictions and simply post their views, so that everyone can take a look at it and decide for themselves.
