subwoofer going crazy

i have an sony HTIB comes with a 50 watt subwoofer and 5*80 watt sattelites and thats all fine and i spend weeks congifuring it and stuff but now when i listen to some tracks the subwoofer goes insane and starts pumping very loud bass out and it never stops and its nearly hurting my ears do you have any idea why this happends ??

there is still quarranty on the product and its not a problem if new subwoofer is required '

Sounds like a problem I just had...

a bad (poor fitting) RCA cable was the source of the problem.

Before chasing other electronic ghosts, change out the cable to the sub, and see what happens.

well that should explain everythin.. sometimes it cuts out and then you have to go push a little to the wires welll thx for answering bless you
