Subwoofer for Music/TV

Guys

I have posted a few different questions about subs....my budget just got slashed on my subs for the time being so I am looking for a budget friendly option.......right now I am considering just using my existing car audio subs for my 2 channel audio system.
Right now I have 2 - 10" eclipse subs in a sealed box that is about 0.8 cu ft per sub, which is what the manufacturer recommends for these. (Model SW 8102) I am planning on either buying the 500W O-Audio amp for them or buck up to the Dayton 1000W. These will be used for music and watching TV, no real need for 20 hz responses. From the basic modeling I have found on them I can get about 35 hz extension in the current box. I was hoping by having the low end boost capabilites with these amps I would possibly see a little better extension.

What you do you guys think? Will the O-Audio fit the ticket? How low does music really extend down to? I listen to rock and rap music, no symphonic stuff that really can extend down. This will not be needed for movies either, just looking for good tight bass that will have plenty of output.

Thanks

Jeff

Anyone have any advice on this? I have been researching and from what I can tell most music only drops down to mid 30 hz range. So I am thinking my sealed enclosure will be fine, my -3db should be close to 40 Hz and with a boost on the low end I can possibly extend that down further.....

Here they are....I will be looking to wire dual 10"s and a 4 ohm load.

Fs - 27 Hz
Qts - 0.476
VAS - 2.9 Ft^3
X-Max (1-way) - 0.157"
Power - 300 W
Impedance - 4 Ohms
DCR - 3.1 ohms

Thanks

That is an xmax of only 4mm! Those drivers will be totally useless outside a car environment and you certainly can't boost the low end!

Those drivers are not worth any trouble for home HT.

Maybe the X- Max is not correct.....I will double check my information. These drivers have a very long through on them they were originally like $300 for each driver new.

I just double checked it looks like it should be 1.2" one way.
