subwoofer connection

Problem; i have 1 sub,using it with 2 channel rig and home theater,is it a good idea to use switcher box so i dont have to switch cables when using 2ch. or home theater?

It beats having to switch wires. Just make sure the sub uses the same inputs for both. Remember, you can't plug a stereo signal into one LFE input but you CAN plug a LFE/subwoofer signal into the stereo input.

Also, the sub might have to be readjusted for each source. Most stereos don't have built-in bass management.
