Subwoofer connection

Hello everyone
I need some help in connect a sub to my amplifier. I currently have a Linn Majik DSM.,I have a power amplifier connected via the pre outs. I also have Line outs. Can I connect the subwoofer to the line out? Or it’s been suggested to get a ’y’ splitter adapter and use my pre outs. Thanks very much

Split the pre-outs....line out wouldn't have volume control...

I don't see extra line outputs on the back of that model.

I see the pre-outs and the speaker (amplified) output. But, nothing else.

That said, complete agreement with @lovinthehd - Just split your current pre-outs and send one set to your subwoofer.

Now that I look at details it does show a configurable input for either a line in or phono in....but don't see line outs particularly mentioned, just a pair of rca "phono" plug outputs so assume those are the pre-outs?
