I think this has been posted around here before, but I stumbled on to it again, and it's so impressive it's worth a repost if it hasn't already been posted. Not a tune, but the sound of the Falcon Heavy launch. It kicks ass at a very high volume.

Holly crap, this is an epic song for your subs. I had the house shaking last night. My AVR was cranked up at -10db for the first 30 seconds and BOOM BOOM BOOM. I'm pretty sure my neighbors head this as well. lol

Just noticed this thread -- I will be spending some time in it for sure.

A lot of my catalog of CDs that I bought prior to the appearance of high quality streaming services were orchestral recordings on a handful of labels with a reputation for exceptional recording quality -- TELARC and Reference Recordings to name a couple. There's no shortfall in recordings from these labels with unusual bass extension, usually thanks to organ pedal bass lines, orchestral bass drums, contrabassoon, etc.

This one is from the TELARC catalog - Star Tracks II, a collection of sci-fi movie sound tracks. This track is from Back to the Future. If your sub is up to it you will *feel*, maybe hear an underpinning organ pedal through certain parts: rumble
