We are preparing a few new articles on subwoofer calibration and would like to gauge how all of you deal with bass tuning in your home theater sytems.
In other words, what are your procedures to calibrating your subs.
Here are a few questions to ponder:
1) Do you use any special test equipment
2) Do you calibrate for more than one listening position
3) What variables of control do you have for calibration:
a) subwoofer placement
b) Listener positon placement
c) Room equalization and or PEQ
d) Variable phase control on subwoofer
e) crossover settings on processor and/or subwoofer
f) passive room correction / room treatment
g) test discs and/or test tones
h) adding more subwoofers in your system
