We need to know the rest of the set up, what type of speakers and drivers and what you will be driving the amp with. I assume this is some type of DJ system.

If you don't know much about audio, it is pretty ambitious to build speakers right off the bat.

You will need lot more than 10" woofer to build a speaker. I suggest you buy your speakers. I need to know what you will be driving the amp with.

In any event that sub is just a driver. I don't think you have any clue how to build a speaker or a sub. The sub needs its own amp and a crossover.

Your understanding of these highly technical and complex issues is about zero. We can not really help you from your starting point. You need to do some reading and education from scratch. You are not even close to a functional project or one we can guide you though.

Like i said, im here just for advice, if im not educated well enough for you to help me, fair enough. and i'm not exactly building a speaker, im just trying to figure out how to power the woofer with my sub. If you cannot help me or attempt to and tell me that im thick, it looks bad on you and the forum.

Just asked for advice/help.. as i recall, i am in the "BEGINNERS" section.

You cannot " power the woofer with my sub".

While TLS guy might be a bit terse, he does make a god point: Not to be rude, but you don't even know what questions to ask at this time, mush less understand any answers you might get.

And, we get some pretty satisfied customers here. They at least realize and admit to their limitations. That's the start to learning which you don't seem to care about. You just want answers to questions you don't even know how to ask.

You might want tom read through some of the other threads in these forums to get some idea of what you're dealing with instead of jumping right in demonstrating and proudly bragging about your ignorance and expecting miracles of enlightenment without any mental expenditure on your part.

It may be beginners, but we have long experience with these types of post. There is a starting point at which we can be of no help.

We can help people new to the hobby who want to by new systems or add equipment. We can not get into post like yours where someone is starting with an old driver and does not know what, and a raw driver and has no clue how to design and build a sub.

Knowing so little that you have no idea that you can accomplish nothing the way you are starting out, does not reflect badly on the forum but you.

Before asking for free help and advice you have to educate and prepare your territory sensibly at the outset. There is not enough time in the world for this type of post.
