After investigating the options here in Costa Rica I've found two finalists in my budget to match my KEF Q700 fronts Q200C center (buying surrounds later)

Its a woofer that will be used 70% movies/series, 20% music, 10% gaming
room is 13.1' x 19.6' x 11.4'
dont care bout looks at all

the 2 options are:

Sunfire SDS-12 that has active 12" woofer with down-firing 12" passive radiator (could move to SDS-10 if 12 is too much)

Klipsch SW-112 that has 12" front-firing woofer (could move to SW-110 if 12 is too much)

would love to hear your opinions and advice, also would like to understand the difference between having the passive radiator and not having it

thanks so much for the help and opinions

Are there any other options available to you? Neither of those is all that great.

Velodyne might be worth looking into. Their subwoofers are rather expensive, but they make some pretty good ones.
