I bought a Polk 10", not sure of the model, but I bought it as demo model and I don't have the instructions. What is the "phase" switch for, it says 180 or 0?

Normally you would leave it on 0.

Unless you got a great deal, I'd return it. Polk's subs leave a lot to be desired.
