The subwoofer to my home theater rattles everytime the bass hits no matter how loud it is. Ive tried different cords and even used it on my friends system and it sounded fine. Is something wrong with my receiver? Or am I able to fix it with on screen menu on the receiver? All help is appreciated. Oh and does it matter if I turned on "multiple channel in" I turned it on being curious and now idk how to turn it off

Don't discount this out of hand, but are you sure something else in the room isn't rattling?

That's the first place I would look as well. What about the grill, is that loose perhaps? Also consider taking a screw driver and tightening everything on the sub. You never know...

Since it sounds OK in another system, it is either something else rattling or you have it set incorrectly on your receiver. Have you done any kind of calibration to set the level correctly?

When its close to the wall it rattles the wall but away from it the sub still rattles. I put my ear next to it and I can hear it. And the grill doesnt come off
