Sub Placement

Wondering what the best placement for my sub is. I have a sectional couch facing my tv. I've heard sub is best in the corner behind the couch for movies and beside the TV for Audio. Any input would greatly appreciated.

Front corner. Needs to be near two solid walls for best efficiency and bass reproduction. But the article is great if you have time.
