I did not want to remove the paper from the top until I get it calibrated and placed properly. That way I won't get too many fingerprints all over it.
This mentality is why buying gear from you is a pleasure. I also think that paper looks sharp. Actually I was looking at it trying to figure out how I would reproduce that effect. :D

I try to take care of my gear. Thanks for the compliments Alex. BTW, just ordered a second LFM-1Plus today. Kinda scare what dual Pluses will do to my small room.:eek: Have any suggestions my friend?

Cheers,

Yeah, listen frequently. I don't even know anybody with dual subs. I'm drawing a couple of DIY subs and this news of yours is making me want to start cutting wood.

Be sure to let us know where you end up placing them. I want mine to be under my up side down mains if you know what I mean.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean Alex. :p:p I believe the only place I can put both subs are right behind my love-seat as shown in a few of my pics. The reason being that my new tv stand is almost as wide as my room!!!!:eek: Hey, got a good deal on it that I could NOT pass up. Shout out to my Boss-go Rick!!!!! In other words, both subs will be co-located and should yield me at least a 6db increase in output. There is perhaps another place to put them, but not sure if it will work. I will, however, know real soon.

I would like to wish you the best with your DIY sub project. Be sure Alex to post some pics with your progress so we all can learn together. Not sure what your total plan is but you may want to check out the Rhythmik kits. They sure get a lot of praise on all of the forums I belong to. Just thought I would mention that. There are also others such as the fairly new 12" Reference kit over at partsexpress.com. It also has been very well received. Good luck Alex. Hope all is well there my friend.

Phil

So far in MO mode and no ports plugged. Very happy but have not done any critical listening just yet. Listened to a few cds and watched a couple of movies so far.

Thanks Jack. It is much appreciated. Looks like they both will have to go behind my love-seat OR perhaps up front kinda behind my new tv stand closer to each corner. Not sure just yet if that will work. Hope to find out real soon. Have a great weekend.

while I don't doubt that these pluses are good (with Dr. HSU's design), with all the subwoofers you've bought and sold ... couldn't you have afforded say a PB13 Ultra already?

Mike, good point. But, things have been so unpredictable here lately. For example, less than (3) months ago I thought I was going to be living in a small apartment. Now, I have a much newer home. At least for now, I do not have to worry about water leaking into home. My roof is shingled thank God.

I got rid of almost all of my gear because the roof was leaking very badly in my former home. I took a chance and got rid of my gear before it all got ruined due to my roof problems. Need I mention we have had a tremendous amount of rain so far this year than ever before. If, I had known in advance how it all has turned out, then there is no doubt I would have had an Ultra 13. However, in my small room not sure where I would of placed the Ultra 13.

Now, my Mom has been diagnosed with lung cancer so I am doing my best to be there for her. Between work and looking after her, there really is not much time for much else. Hope to get things back to normal because this last move has been very stressful. The only reason I am getting a second LFM-1 Plus is because of the (2) for $899 deal Outlaw Audio have going. My next upgrade will be a BR player.

Cheers,

Phil

i thought you said she did not have cancer?
Well, her family doctor said she didn't. But, the specialist determined she does.:(:( Her family doctor made a mistake. The lesion is about 1" in diameter and needs to be removed. However, her health may not allow her to have the surgery. As such, she is undergoing extensive testing to determine whether or not she can have the thoracic surgery. If not, then she has to have radiation therapy. Either way, she will probably have to take chemo too. The real question is has it spread??? This is why the doctors are now moving rather quickly. My hope is she will become cancer free. Thanks for asking Mike.

Good luck to you and your family. As someone who has seen multiple family members go through cancer, I know how difficult it is to be in such an environment.

Oh man thank you so much. Am sorry to hear that you have had to endure this as well. Cancer is one of those dreadful things that someday God will grant us the ability to cure. My heart goes out to those going through it. Really appreciate your kind words blue. God bless my friend.

Cheers,

Phil
