The last week or so my Sub all of a sudden won't come out of standby. Does not matter if its music or movies...Yamaha receiver everything set to small at 80hz.
Anyone else having this problem sub is a couple months old...RLS Speedwoofer....

Did you change any of the settings in the avr for a standby mode of some sort? May be a fault in the amp, I'd contact RSL, maybe they'll swap amps with you or help troubleshoot it....on the other hand aside from a small bit of electrical consumption shouldn't be a problem to simply leave it on either.

When it's on it automatically goes into standby after 20 mins....The on switch is standby or off....the only thing different is I added a Emotiva to front speakers

So the on position does the standby thing, and standby position does the on thing? I'd call RSL. The addition of the external amp for your speakers shouldn't have any bearing on it....
