Got this Dayton sub for my second setup. It works great except for this hum it seems to be getting after I listen to something then goes into silence. It has auto-on function built into the amp. I tried my SVS sub and it's auto-on seems to filter out the noise. The Dayton sub has ground pin for the amp as well so I am not too sure what the problem is.

Well, the sub is connected to a system with interconnects. The question is this, do you also have a TV connected to that system? If so, unplug the cable Tv at the wall and see if that has an effect on it or not. It seems you are getting some ground loop into that sub amp.
