Sub advice please: 2 subs for my HT?

Nice setup you have there.

I hate to dissappoint, but I won't be making any upgrade for a while. This doesn't mean I haven't taken anyone's advice I'm just planning ahead.

I will probably have to travel out of town to hear subs like Hsu or SVS.

By the way, those SVS Ultra subs are 'spensive (per the website)

Yep. Very 'spensive. SPL's cost lots of USD's, lol.

Oh, here is a look backwards from the tv to the location of the second sub (under the clock and behind the big surround speaker)....does it look about the size of your listening/watching room?

Similar size. Pics can be misleading. I see you have vaulted ceilings. I'm at 10 feet all the way. My living room is not completely at one with my kitchen, rather it is a little more than halfway divided by a wall, which helps to "seal-in some cubic footage" if you will. Still though, alot of low freq sound seems to be getting diluted by all this airspace and access into the room.

My wife sort of has a "don't ask/don't tell" policy when I'm into making purchases like this. She knows that she doesn't want to know.
