Sub $550 receiver

Hey,

noob here. I am looking for a receiver to go into my media room. I am completely lost as there are so many choices. The room is big enough to handle a 5.1 system, so I have no need to go to 7 channels. So here is my question, which receiver would suit my needs which is around 550 dollars? Also I will need at least 4 hdmi. Any help is appreciated.
