Hello I am new to this forum.

Can someone help me out please?
I have a Russound Sphere audio/video home distribution system in my home. I have an iPod dock which a source in the Sphere system. The Sphere wall plate has a click wheel and functions somewhat like an iPod but it takes forever to go through the iTunes library with the Sphere system.
I want an easier way to browse thru my iTunes library and play any song directly through the Sphere system.
I have an iMac and a Macbook Pro. I want to be able to go through my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro for example, choose a song and have it play through my Sphere system effortlessly. I heard bad things about the Airport express so I don't want to go that way. Can I use the Apple TV to do this as a bridge? Is the iBridge bay still a good option? Anyone hear about the Myro:Bridge? There is also the Apple Airplay... Can someone please tell which solution is best for me?

Thank you

you could use an airport express, which will connect to your wireless network. it has an optical out which you can hook into your receiver. itunes will show the airport express as a speaker that you can select instead of your computer speaker. so then you can use your computer to control itunes, or if you have an iphone you can use the remote app.

note that in my experience, the airport express is extremely buggy and has a lot of interference especially with overlapping wifi networks, but it's the best solution i've found...
