Okay, I didn't expect you to physically move the speaker  but just the Cable. Did the former Center (now Front Left) Crackle? If so that's the issue, if not Taga Harmony TAV-606 SE or a connection problem.
hehe.. i didn't move the speakers :p i just swapped their wires..
former center didn't crackle because it does only on certain musics or dialogues..in which the new center (former front left) didn't crackle..

I assume your receiver has an option called Multi-stereo. Switch to that output. That puts the same stereo output to all speakers simultaneously. Then grab a CD or music source that made the Center speaker crackle and put it on so the volume coming from meets or exceeds when it failed under surround sound. Does that cause it to have the same issue?

Glad I could be of help. I've got decades of experience in this stuff and it helps that I'm an Electrician with Technician level training in Electronics.

I doubt the issue caused any grief on the center speaker. And the protection circuits in the Pioneer should protect the receiver. I'd say give it a healthy work out, and you'll soon know by listening (while it's still under warranty) if any issues remain.

Enjoy!

How do you have it connected to the Pioneer?

Is it set to Auto?

First un-plug the sub and let it sit for a minute. Toggle the switch to off. Then plug the Sub back in and with the receiver off, toggle that switch to on (not Auto). Play a tune or something to make the sub amp work. Then turn off the Pioneer and tell me if it still Pops.

followed playing and making sub work... after that turning pioneer off didn't pop the subwoofer..but after this..turning off the sub made it again to pop..

I suspect the Sub has an issue. If it's still under warranty I'd take it in for Service or contact Polk for advice.

By the way, I assumed it was plugged into the LFE RCA input.

You are most welcome.
