Verify cable polarity and connection with no fray wires?

Pioneer has been used for how long? With other speakers?

Are these speakers new, or recently bought used?

Sounds like a decoding problem. What is your system? I'm suspicious of a miserable HTIB.

are you sure its decoding problem??? or is it the speaker that is blown?? or my receiver has some problem that can be serviced..
if its decoding problem then i wont use ac3.. lol..
if not..then suggest me..so that i can claim it for replacement or get it serviced as it is under warranty..

Of course I'm not sure. First of all you have not told me what equipment you are using.

Second I'm not there in your room to see and hear what is happening. Nor is my test gear there to see what is going on.

I can be just about 100% certain it is not the speaker. Speaker problems persist, not come and go.

I would bet that the most likely trouble area is the microprocessor or software/firm ware problem.

If you really want help then you need to give extreme details about your system.

Just placing a minimal post and asking for clairvoyant services will not get you very far.

If you had done as I asked I could now be helping you with firmware update, default reset and those type of issues.

We give this service free and gratis, and have a much better track record than customer support.

You have to be sensible, engaged and follow through on our requests for information and procedures we may require you to perform. Last but not least, summon up the odd neuron and synapse in the jolly old grey matter.

I'd be willing to bet your problem is the laptop being used as a source. Borrow a dvd player and make sure....

I will try this later. Remember it is Christmas time, so things are a little hectic here. I have to move some snow with the tractor and then my wife and I are going up to Bemidji for some grocery and supplies.

I will try and get round to this later on.

I agree with Warrior though, that the issue is very likely the laptop. What is the connection between the laptop and the receiver?

In addition I had a lot of issues with Cyberlink and got rid of it pretty fast.

Hemant,

Speakers are easy to check. If your issue is only the Center channel speaker, swap the cables from it with one of the Front speakers. If the issue follows the the cable to a known good Front speaker then your Center speaker is the issue. If it doesn't, then it's most likely your Pioneer VSX-329k.

I hope this is helpful ;)

No problem at all. I checked your speaker specs. Just don't crank it full, or if it starts to distort ramp them down.

i swapped center speaker with front left..
and after swapping, center(now tower speaker is the new center) didn't crackle up in the same music..
now what is the issue?? it is the original center speaker damaged right??

Okay, I didn't expect you to physically move the speaker  but just the Cables. Did the former Center (now Front Left) Crackle? If so that's the issue, if not it's the Pioneer, or a connection problem.
