Can anybody help me?

I stumbled onto a song that's so-called "Stop, what's that sound" and it is the original. I just wanted to know if you guys remember which rapper did a remix of that sound. The start of the song is high guitar notes.

I think that the rapper did a remix of that sound for a movie... not sure.

I think the title is "For What It's Worth". I think Buffalo Springfield did it. I've heard CSN do it, too.

I can hear it in my head, just can't think of the rapper. Did a quick google but will have to look deeper.
Will report back if I find something.

"For What It's Worth", sampled by Public Enemy in their song "He Got Game".

Originally written by Stephen Still, performed by Buffalo Springfeild in 1967.

That was a good song. Tainting it by associating it with (c)rap is terrible.:(

I feel the same way. I have nothing against rap (as long as I don't have to listen to it), just please stop re-making good, old songs.

HE GOT GAME!!! Couldn't remember the movie title! Heck... that's the title of the song too.

By the way, I'm not too much of a rap fan but there's a couple songs here and there that catches my attention. You just can't complain about Dr. Dre - Still DRE. That's a classic! :p Tupac did some great songs too. Anyways, not here to bash on someone's tastes.

Thank you so much for the help.

Nearly all rap is unoriginal as most of the samples they use are from real artists and make their own music with instruments. Though there are a few in there that used original ideas.
