Sticker Shock on Curtain Costs.... Any alternatives?

Thanks wescott, this is very helpful and much appreciated! I may be able to have them install fully automated shutters for the windows and doors that impact the HT area of my house. Manual shutters can be installed for the other windows that wouldn't be opened and closed on a daily basis for light control purposes.

Hurricane Rita

Well,

I got back to my home yesterday and the hurricane shutters did their job well.

It sure did make me look good with the wife and the added protection and peace of mind more than made up for their high price.

We saw some pretty high winds here near the water but did not get the brunt of the storm.

I consider ourselves very lucky and hope I never have to put them to the test again!
