My apoligies Sir, I do not think your opinon apport anything in this commet, if you wish to share some tech specifications of why this would be almost impossible and why you assumed this would be a big peice of hardware we could further discuss the case. Technology would not exist if the entire world would think like you, it is very possible to make a 11.2.4 receiver with a LE34 amp not bigger than an Onkyo. If you are not interested I understand Sir, but it will happen, made by people who are working and building instead of posting critics. Thank you for investing your time in reading and replying my post

Yes and we could build steam locomotives to pull the Express trains. That same question would apply: - What would be the point?" That is also the question you have to answer, before answering your proposition is worth a halfpence of spit!

Katherine, just out of curiosity, are you thinking of an all-tube stereo receiver, meaning that it has at least an FM tuner in it? Or are you thinking this is electronics out of an existing solid state pre-amp or processor, paired with a tube power amplifier? I am assuming you are *not* thinking this is an all-tube AVR (which strikes me as nearly impossible).

Pared with a tube power amp, there is no chance to do an "all in one" combined, but it is possible to make a 2 in one system and this is the idea

Replying with a question
is the characteristic of mediocre people. I didn't ask your opinion, I asked for the ones interested to step forward. I do not care if you believe in it or not, don't make me waste my time getting the notification of your useless comment, thank you. You can stay I your chair writing post. I will make things happen.

Katherine, I can give you a long list of the ways I'm mediocre, but asking questions for clarification is not on that list. You didn't ask for my opinion, but I'll give you two, for free. One, that chip on your shoulder isn't becoming. Two, you're on the wrong forum for getting advice about tube amp construction. Try diyAudio.com.

Well I'm still confused. Please state clearly what is the 2 and what is the 1. Exactly what is going in the box? I'm afraid there is another question: - is this all tube or hybrid?
