Stacking Tower Speaker on sub?

IMHO, it is preferable not to put a Tower Speaker on top of a Sub. You open yourself up to vibrations, interactions between the two, etc. Why not put 1 sub in front & 1 in the rear of your room. The Bass will be better spread out.

It's fine physically, you may want to put a pad between the two if no rubber feet. Better reason for separation of sub and speaker is because of the way low frequencies work, it's not ideal to be in the positions of your mains generally....the advantage of subs is separate placement.
