Good morning guys,
I'm having a hard time deciding on either the marantz sr6012 or the denon x4400H...They are both $899.

My setup.
Center---Klipsch RP-440C.
L&R ---- klipsch R-26F.
Surrounds & heights --- klipsch R-15M's

Which is the better receiver for my setup?

Thanks,
Mike

If you need multichannel analog inputs, go with the SR6012, otherwise the AVR-X4400H is superior, as it should be compared to the SR7012.

I am happy with the 6012. It does miss out on the Auro 3D option, 2nd big display under the flap and its about 10wpc down but it does everything I need of it. Denon has the nicer display instead of the porthole, those extra 10wpcs, however I thought the 4400 had the multi channel inputs just not the 3400?

This is the exact same decision I'm looking at. I want to upgrade to an Atmos receiver capable of 5.2.4, which is my planned upgrade path from my current 5.1 system. I also want earc for when I finally upgrade to a 4k TV next year. These are similarly priced and featured. It looks like the consensus is for the Denon.
