Now I know speaker wires touch each other can cause a short. I'm wondering whether speaker wire touching the case of a metal amp would cause issues. In this case, I cannot insert the metal pin of the termination into the binding post without the connector touching the amp's metal case. Would it be better to simply connect using bare wire (in which case I could connect without touching the case)?
