Speaker terminals

Sorry If this a stupid question...i'm still learning here... but why are there 4 terminals on the back of my speakers?

Your speakers are bi-wireable/ bi-ampable (I am not even sure those are real words) so you can send frquencies to the different drivers. There seems to be little atvantage to bi-wiring so I wouldnt worry about that. There does seem to be an advantage to bi-amping but requires more than one amp. If you are using a reciever or one amp just use one set of terminals and make certain your jumper bar is inplace.

Make sure there is a jumper on each set of same colored terminals if one pair of wire is going to the speaker.
