If it is a good quality selector that does not filter the frequency range than it should not adversely effect the sound. I use a selector from Niles to control several sets of speakers on one of my zones in my house. A big requirement for me is to make sure it matches the impedance of the speakers as to not overload the amp. What is your purpose for the selector?
