Hi,
I am seting up a new A.V system for my apartment. Everything is going in-wall for space/aesthetic reasons (except sub). I am using RBH MC-83 in-walls for my front stage and MC-6DB for my surround. I have a question regarding placement in the walls. My center will go right above the TV but I could not accomodate the front right speakers on the side of the TV due to a pocket door frame that came too close. So I am planning on raising the front left and right speakers above that door frame hight. This means the speakers will be located about 7' high, just about 2' underneath the ceiling. Now I live in a loft and the ceiling is concrete. I am wondering if somehow the accoustic performance of the speaker will be reduced by such a high placement.
Thank you for taking the time to respond (my room is 25'x20' BTW)
