Speaker Level Calibration

I have an Anthem MRX 1140, and I'm trying to level the speaker volume. Outside of ARC I can press the settings on the remote and scroll to level calibration first up is calibration level > noise (on) > profile > sub (adjust from speaker volume control) the next speaker Front Left has 85 db on the SPL meter try to adjust volume the dbs go up and down, but there is no change in the speaker's volume. None of the speaker's volume will change, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If the meter says its going up and down in dB there is change in volume. It may not be very audible, a few dB isn't much.
