can anyone give me info on jbl lxe770 vs jbl lx 5000
they seem like prety much same speakers but lx shorter and deeper?
i am using them as music/ stereo system only.

I know the Lxe 770 but never heard of the lx 5000. Sure you dont mean the lx 500 ?

You must mean the lx500 as it is indeed very similar.

but not identical.

the tweeter t27 is the same in both speakers but the midtone and bass are different. though they have the same model number they are of different revisions (g1 and g2) (g just mean that it is a 4 ohm driver)

also the crossovers are different.
