Hello all. I acquired this speaker but it has no name or identifying markings. if anyone knows the name of this twelve inch sub with five inch mid range it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't know,, but it's NOT a sub. It's a coaxial speaker, which consists of a low frequency/midrange driver, generally referred to as a woofer with a mid/high frequency element mounted in it's center.

there is a massive difference between a regular woofer and a sub woofer.

hehe, yes massive indeed. Massive not just in as in "large" difference, but also in difference of literal mass - subwoofer has much more substantial structure and much bigger magnets.

Whatever it is, it is total piece of junk and best disposed of.
