Speaker distance

my two front speakers are 81" apart
1)Should they be pointing directly at the listening area, or should they pont straight out?
2)Whats the minimum distance the listening aread should be ?

Ideally, your main listening position should be 81" from each speaker, to form an equilateral triangle. The amount of toe-in varies with both the specific speakers and the room.
