My understanding is that this weekend, both shuttles will be on display at the same time and that it will be setup before this week is even over.

I showed up to work just as the first pass by Dulles went by. I missed it, but knew that it was then going into DC to do a few flyovers before coming back in for a landing at Dulles. I didn't have my good camera, but did get a few shots off with my iPhone...

There are times when you realize you are seeing something which you have never seen before in your life, and likely will never see again in your life. It was truly amazing to witness and gives me a great sense of respect for all that went into the entire Space Shuttle program.

It looks like the two will only be together for a very brief time. I doubt it will be in the museum over the weekend. I would assume it will take a couple days to get it mated to the 747. It's been a long time since it's been in the air. The Enterprise is scheduled to fly around NYC on the morning of Monday April 23rd.
