I know Walter Duque has a few speakers from this company. Does anyone else? Info on the company and speaker reviews seem hard to find.

They have nice looking speakers. I know they can play loud, but I'm wondering about clarity and sound stage.

& the pair I want.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I just spoke with someone at Source Loudpspeaker Technologies. He told me he was the guy that designed the Infinite Slope speaker. Someone just posted something about the Infinite Slope in another thread here on the AH forum.

Source speakers are made in the U.S. They wind their own coils and build their own cabinets in New England.

He's going to send some measurements over the next couple of days which I'll post here.

Does anyone have more information on this company or own Source Speakers?

Thanks.
Barry

I remember a lot of buzz about JSE infinite slope speakers years ago, but I never got the hear them.

I think Joseph Audio uses infinite slope the joseph audio collection

Here's an interview I found with the founder of the company - Top Ten E-Mail Interactive Interview (T2EI2)!

I know that doesn't tell you much about Source Loudspeaker Technologies, but maybe it will help give some insight into the infinite slope design.

Also interested...

I'm also interested in this loudspeaker - have you purchased a pair or been able to get any more information on them?

I don't know how I missed your post.
I have the Coherent Pulse and really like them, very detailed and great sound stage. They seem better suited to a stereo or 2.1 setup.
The owner and his wife are a pleasure to deal with.

No not yet. Life happened and I'm putting my toy buying on hold.

John was more than willing to help and not salesman like at all. A real nice guy. I would have no hesitations buying from him.

I agree. These are interesting looking speakers.

I almost forgot to mention the top quality crossover parts they use.
Real quality components.

Speaker manufacturers who talk about phase coherence a lot always make me skeptical. Some are very good, but none I've ever heard have been the best I've heard. That makes me wonder if phase coherence is nothing but a marketing diversion.

Phase coherence is very important. Your Salon2s are pretty phase coherent leading to their great imaging.

What you're thinking of, however, is phase-coincidence which I agree is pointless to chase.

Yeah, I was using the term "coherence" because I had just read their web site, which uses that term a lot.
