I know you have access to those service manuals. You will see that the AV7705 and SR7015 (AVR) really are the same except of course it has no power amps, so the power supply will be different, and that the AV has XLR I/Os.
If you compare it with the Denon AVR-X4500H, then you will see the same thing, except in that case the Denon skipped the silly heat producing do nothing HDAMs.

We told you before, AVPs (most of them anyway) aren't more reliable than their AVR cousins because power amps rarely failed if you keep them cool enough and don't overload them. AVP, being called separates is a big myth, it is only "separate" based on the artificial low bar, that it has the power amp section separated, in a "separate" box lol..
Just curious, the AV20 is out any day now, it is rack mountable, have the same guts as the AV10, just fewer channel count, though you are not particularly keen on high channel count that includes channels you don't need, wonder why you wouldn't go with that one that presumably with have most if not all all bugs/issues addressed, being made at least two years after the launch of the AV10.
