Hello, I'm new to the forum. I started looking for answers to my problem and found audioholics. I've tried searching the forum, but couldn't find any related topics to my problem.. see below.
My equipment: Onkyo 7.1 AV receiver (TX-NR609) and some Klipsch Reference & Icon speakers. I have a pair of front Klipsch tall standing speakers (KF-28), a Klipsch center (RC-42 II), and a pair of surround Klipsch Speakers (RB-51).
Problem: When I change the listening mode from "theater dimensional" to "stereo" (using the 2 front speakers only) on the AV receiver, I noticed the sound is so much louder, more bass, and just overall, punchy and better sounding. When I turn "theater dimensional" back on, it seems that the sound gets quite faint, it sounds good, but way less bass, and sounds weak.
Why is this? I've checked the speaker wiring and everything is lined up perfectly; nothing is connected improperly, to my knowledge.
Thanks in advance for any help!
