Sound Board (sheetrock)

Does anyone here have any experience with sound board? Only .30 cents a square foot. As far as acoustics, does it work? Is it better than regular sheetrock? Thanks all... JOhn

I thnk any type of sound isolation / deadening in a room is an improvement. Depending your budget, can apply numerous methods, or as detailed in the products below "layering" to provide sound attenuation to adjacent areas/rooms.
