I've gone and upgraded my 720p Sony projector to a new 1080p (thanks to all those that helped me select the Epson 6500UB).
Projector is about 4 years old and runs great. It's never had the bulb replaced, but it doesn't get a *ton* of use. I did replace the air filter last year.
