Blah Blah Blah. Sounds like marketing hogwash at this point. I will need to see it in action.

For now I will take an infinite contrast ratio and no need for special processing of the refresh rate with a Pioneer plasma. Infinite is still better than 1,000,000 to one :D

very true... it's hard to beat a pioneer plasma.

I am pretty happy with my current t.v. When these t.v's become somewhat affordable, give me a ring;).

Agreed. Until I can pick up a 75 inch flat screen to hang on the wall for a reasonable price, I'll keep my DLP.

1,000,000:1 contrast ratio

Is that the difference between the display measured in the middle of the desert at noon time vs. buried at the bottom of a 4,000 foot coal mine with all of the lights turned off?

240 ??? I dont think it will make much of a difference... 120 upgrade was marginal. I cant imagine how cartoonie 240 mode would look.

Not all 120 hz. sets have that fake look to them, I know mine doesn't. But I think the reason for the faster refresh rates is to reduce motion blur.
