Does anyone here own Sony TA-AX285 or can comment on this unit? Good stuff, or should I pass? I have a very much entry-level (or maybe below entry-level, by this board's standards) Onkyo DVD receiver, and I am currently expanding/upgrading the Onkyo to a 5.1 system. That Sony unit seems to be from the 1990s, though I could not find any specs from Sony. Someone in my local area is selling theirs for about $40, and I was wondering if it's a worthwhile unit and a good deal. For me, this would be a useful, cheap option for an external amp...
