Sony Strdg520 subwoofer problem

As adviced i did the connection with the splitter and the cable. but nothing is happening

the Bush has four settings -
Disc -> to play dvd's
Line1 and Line 2- to amplify external audio sources.
and the normal FM channel

i guess its the LINE1 you r talking abt as analog
and also in the receiver it says LFE

I have decided to buy a Yamaha NSP110 subwoofer and speakers instead of banging my head with this bush
Just one doubt, can i connect the yamaha Subwoofer L(mono ) /R with the RCA patch cable
like RCA patch cable to RCA splitter then RCA splitter to Subwoofer out (STRDG520)

Hi, and thanks for posting the link to the owner's manual - that made it much easier!

The connection for the sub is shown on page E-7 of the manual, and it appears that the speaker package comes with the necessary subwoofer cable (which is just an RCA cable). You don't need to use the splitter. You can connect the subwoofer output on your receiver to just one of the inputs on the sub (look at the manual for which one).
