I've had the Sony SCD-1 for a couple of years now and, as I am strictly a 2 channel listener I am more than pleased with this unit. I find that the reproduction on both SACD and Redbook CD to be exceptional and consider it a bargain in the performance/price ratio catagory. I don't think I'll be running out to buy anything better in the forseeable future. Highly recommended.
