I've been wanting to get a new system for a while, i recently i saw that Amazon put this stereo up, and to me being an amateur, it looks pretty nice.

What i'm wanting is a nice loud system, that still has clear enough of sound. Will be using it to fill a room up with sound and do dancing and such.

I don't want anything overly complicated, so this is why i look at these all in one systems, and not something complex with tons of parts.

It seems this stereo has been out for a while, but only now being sold in the US. Previously it was only sold in Europe, and the middle east, so its very hard to find any reviews, or videos of it that are in english. Which is why i'm posting about it here before i buy it, so see what you all think of it.

Have no idea what this guy is saying, but you can tell the size and see kinda how loud it can get.

The stereo costs $999, which is alot, but the speakers look nice, and they're huge. I don't really care too much about the DJ aspects.

I think this will be nice, due to its size, loudness, and so far people haves aid it has clear sound.
Also all i need is usb ports, so i can plug my computer into it. i don't use discs, or anything silly like that anymore.

One of my friends (who isnt into cool stuff or loud filling music) said i'd just be wasting money. I'll have a loud system but no quality.

thanks for your time.

I know all in one maybe simpler to set up but they sound just bad. For half the money, and far better performance, I would do the following;

1.) Look for a used AVR from the makes of Denon, Yamaha, Marantz (some others can chime in on which sites to visit)
2.) Buy a cheap DVD player at Walmart for around $75.
3.) And a pair of these http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/Speakers/Home+Theater+Speakers/SP-FS52 or these Primus 363 - Infinity .

You'll have much better performance for half teh price. The only thing its not is flashy and cheap looking.

thank you 3db.
I suppose it is much wiser for me to do the component method.

I plan on steaming everything to the AVR from my computer via usb, so i don't think a dvd player would be needed right? Many AVR have the usb input.

Maybe i should hang out here more, and learn how to make a much better system. i do want the system to be loud, but i also want the sound to be clear as possible.
I had one of these loud systems before, and you could barely hear some of the instruments, i really don't want to go through that again.

thanks again for your reply.

My favorite part:

Power Consumption

  • Power Consumption (in Operation) : 320 W
  • Power Consumption (in Standby) : 0.3 W

Audio Power Output

  • Front (RMS) : 500W x 4
  • PMPO Total : 22000W
  • RMS Total : 2000W

Something just doesn't add up here.....

I personally owned this system for quite a while. The sound never became distorted, even when put on the maximum volume (in which case I could hear it clearly outside doing yard work) and with the Bass Boost feature, I would put on some heavy-hitting songs and I would step outside for a cigarette and you could hear the paneling on the house shaking. It is a bit pricy, but its as easy as matching color with color for the two cords to plug in per speaker (one for led lighting, other for sound) that come wrapped in a tough plastic tube that bends easily to hide and avoid clutter, plug your stuff and youre good to go. Sadly, iI had to part with it when i moved :(

Stay away from that peice of junk.

Another item to consider is that there is no upgrade path with it.

Take the advice from 3db. A better system, less $, and the ability to upgrade in pieces as needed.
