These speakers are “masterpieces:. Read the actual reviews, particularly those pertaining to the little bookshelf type speakers, they are considered “masterpieces”. ALL the reviews are spectacular. My regret is that I didn’t discocer them before they were discontinued. And it’s impossible to find them used. A terrible shame that they’ve been overlooked.
That said, I am little confused and I hope someone will respond. Do you need two speakers (SS-NA9ES) to act as subwoofer? Or do you buy the center speaker. I ask because I am hoping I will eventually score two bookshelf speakers and the appropriate subwoofer on the used market. I just hope I don’t have to buy two subwoofers as they are $4000 each.
