How do I do that?... Im a 50 yr old wuth little knowledge if such things.
Damage is usually audible even at moderate sound levels. If you hear distortion or it sounds like a tweeter is not working, that can indicate damage. For speaker distortion you also need to check whether the receiver of amplifier is faulty. To do that, swap the distorted speaker with another one that is sounding fine. If the distortion moves with the speaker, the speaker is faulty. If the previously good speaker now sounds distorted then that particular channel in the receiver is faulty.

I suggested blown speakers because “muffled audio” was said to be present during playback. So, moving speakers around to track down a bad speaker or channel as Eppie suggested is a good place to start.
