Hello! First post so bear with me... I have an older model home theater system that has served me very well. Lately when I attempt to turn it off, it goes on "standby" and won't shut off. Perhaps coincidentally the DVD function no longer works. I can't seem to provoke the Settings function to appear so that I can attempt a reset. Have tried disconnecting all connections and reconnecting- no go. Settings function won't come up from remote either. All other functions work perfectly. Perhaps replace the optical cable? I hear that they fail sometimes... Other ideas? Many thanks!!
