Hi,
can someone tell me the difference between the Sony CDP-M555ES CD jukebox player and the SONY CDP-CX455 jukebox? From the pictures I've seen, it looks like they have the same features. From what I've heard, the Sony ES series is supposed to be higher-quality equipment, is that true? Would the sound quality on the ES model the much better than the CX 455? I ask because one of the belts on my Sony CDP-M555ES recently broke, not sure if I'm going to have it repaired or buy a new player. This is the third Sony CDP-M555ES I've owned in the past 12-ish years. I don't recall the problem I had with the other two but it wasn't broken belts. The CX models I see on eBay seem to be a little less expensive than the ES models. To be fair, I did use those three ES jukebox players a lot, played virtually every day, 99% of the time in shuffle play mode. Anyway, any info y'all can provide on the difference between these two players is greatly appreciated, thanks!
