Sony buys Motorstorm developer

Well it looks like Sony wants to keep the Motorstorm franchise and keep it exclusive or maybe they bought it before Microsoft could . Either way with the information release that a sequel is coming out Sony decided to pick the company up. Hopefully they won't be a one hit wonder.

My guess is it has nothing to do with Motorstorm itself, the dev house is a talented studio that came up with an impressive game engine on the PS3 whereas others couldn't/can't. Like Rare used to be able to do before Nintendo sold them.

Sony pretty much funds most of the big games anyway, as does Microsoft for their big games...you don't think these companies have 40+ million per game to sink into development by themselves do you?
